   1. October activities recap

      1. 10/20 Trunk of Treat - Katherine

         1. Prizes were awarded to top 3 trunks; 2 gas cards and a donated Dicks Sporting Goods gift card

      2. 10/26 MSU vs UofM tailgate snack - Katie

         1. Everything went smoothly once we figured out the machine and I was so grateful to have such awesome volunteers. Students and staff seemed to enjoy the popcorn and the sticker voting for their preferred team.

      3. 10/27 Half day teacher conferences, lunch for teachers - Jamie

         1. Ordered wraps from Goodlyfe (they gave us 15% off and two free salads), also bought drinks and cookies. Total spent $372.81.

   2. Fifth grade fundraiser November 1-16

      2. Pickup will be week of December 5

      3. Money raised will go to t-shirts and cinch sacks for camp

      4. Who should we put as seller?

   3. Parent Participation Forms- if anyone at all is interested and available we could really use any help that you can provide. Especially if someone has graphic design skills, wants to run our social media, or chair our fundraising committee!

   4. Auction - Becky -a doc will soon be shared with ideas of who to contact for donations

   5. Added in- Book Fair went really well and Ms Cochran was so grateful for all the volunteers. We had enough donations to cover every child who wanted a book with $3 to spare!

5. New Business

   1. November Activities - Katherine

      1. 13th World Kindness day

      2. 17 STEM family night -PTO to provide pizza, water, and some craft supplies

      3. Thanksgiving break

   2. Holiday Shop- Becky

      1. If Holiday Shop is going to happen we will need quite a few volunteers over 2 days. Dates are to be finalized soon and a sign up genius will go out.

      2. Volunteers needed to help students shop, run check out, supervise students that aren’t shopping and help with gift wrapping

   3. Science Olympiad - Marija Massey

      1. Need volunteers to coach different teams for 6-8 weeks leading up to competition in May or June. Also needs volunteers to help with the organization side of things and on the day of the event.

      2. Will hopefully have an info board up at STEM night

      3. Majority of materials are provided by WESO

   4. Website for pto - Becky

      1. Our new website is live and includes a lot of awesome information and ways to support PTO through your regular shopping. Check it out at www.brickelementarypto.com

      2. Passed a motion to pay $190/year for own domain

   5. Staff Holiday Break Gift? - Katie

      1. Maybe a surprise snack in the lounge? A lot of teachers were in this meeting (hooray!) so we did not discuss this in too much depth.

   7. Friday Brick Buck store

      1. Should pto contribute monthly to cart items? - Katie

      2. Look into getting monthly sponsors from parents or local businesses for this and stocking the teacher lounge. If anyone knows of a parent or local business who would like to stock the teachers lounge or Brick Buck cart for a month please let us know!

      3. The students receive Brick Bucks as an incentive as part of the PBIS program and then can spend them at the Brick Buck cart once a month on fun supplies.
